I don't think the fight happens either. Just saying I wouldn't mind seeing the two of them back in a ring together.Comment

very interesting in my opinion hbo doesnt get enough attention and is biggest culprit when it comes to big fights not happening and the politics that help hurt this sportComment

I actually want to see May-Pac II. The first fight was overdue anyway as a rematch would be, I don't see a great difference. There's that slight doubt still that Pac could in fact have done better under optimal circumstances. The draw, as I see it, would be Mayweather's 0 and yet another comeback. And greats are supposed to have rematches like these, so why not.
Statistically, the only other fighter to beat Manny unanimous besides TBE was Erik Morales - and that took getting cut and bloodied from a headbutt. That's telling, to me. It means you were looking at two of the best in the ring on 5/2/2015 - where the winner proved why he belonged #1.
We can speculate about shoulders and crooked judges and Las Vegas and Kenny Bayless and drug testing and IVs and all that all day long, but the fact of the matter is, Manny didn't show up and he knows it.
He shouldn't be broke, period. Chino's not broke and he retired with a fraction of what Manny did.
If Floyd's as smart as I think he is, he will fight someone like Broner, or Crawford. Someone where there's actually an uncertainty as to the outcome (yes, even with Broner). Someone with buzz in the media who can sell a fight.
Not go back to Manny and UD him again with 1.4 clinches per round, nobody wants to see that.Comment

There's simply no point to a rematch. None.

agreed with this.. team mayweather knowing that they won the first fight will prolly milk pac at the negotiation table to the point where manny would prolly have to decline the match. pac will not be able to make any demands or request unless manny did something spectacular like (knock out crawford if he fights him in 2017) leading up to a rematch with floyd which is unlikely to happen.Comment
