Joe Frazier and George Foreman put him at #1
Lennox Lewis Is DEFINTLY a top 10

Frazier and Foreman have a different top 10 every week. Ignore them as other top 10 boxers don't make good judges. -
i havent actually compiled a list but i would certainly consider him in my top ten and he should really be in anyones top 15 IMHOComment

i feel you homeboy.....he was getting his ass kick by a one eyed guy...that punk ass ref stopped it simply becuse he was a big lewis fan....thats my only guess..Originally posted by mini Klitschkoi lost all respect for the man, personally. sure, i'm partial to the klitschko brothers, but i'm also a believer in pride and honor. firstly, no way should someone even whisper ko when talking about lennox versus vitaly. lennox was LOSING and looking pathetic when the fight got called against vitaly's wishes for a cut that needed what, 60 some stiches around his eye? also, he get's introduced as beating every man he's ever faced. so it's general knowledge that he was down on points vs. klitschko, everyone in the world wanted a rematch, he promised one to vitaly, and he ducks out and retires "on top with nothing left to prove." excuse me??? until he actually "beats" vitaly, not a win, but beats the man, whatever. he should've retired before vitaly. that was just sad going out like that. in my opinion.Comment

he avenged all his losses, that more than most fighters have ever done. Ali had 5 losses....Ray Robinson had losses...it's apart of the game, coming back and still being a dominant force after a loss is what being great is all about, and Lewis did, as well as the other mentioned.......Originally posted by chuckwatersNo one on this earth he is top 10. You listed notable wins, what about notable losses....
He got his clocked cleaned by Rahman and McCall. You cant take two L's like that and be an ATG. Not saying Lewis wasnt nice, but not top 10.
Lewis deserves to be in the top 10 list of heavy greats, easily.
basically he defeated everyone he's fought.....avenging a loss is huge, not only do you have to rise to the occasion, you have to get your mental game back too....bug ups to Lennox...Comment

he won the fight vs. vitaly fair and square the cut was caused by a PUNCH...Originally posted by mini Klitschkoi lost all respect for the man, personally. sure, i'm partial to the klitschko brothers, but i'm also a believer in pride and honor. firstly, no way should someone even whisper ko when talking about lennox versus vitaly. lennox was LOSING and looking pathetic when the fight got called against vitaly's wishes for a cut that needed what, 60 some stiches around his eye? also, he get's introduced as beating every man he's ever faced. so it's general knowledge that he was down on points vs. klitschko, everyone in the world wanted a rematch, he promised one to vitaly, and he ducks out and retires "on top with nothing left to prove." excuse me??? until he actually "beats" vitaly, not a win, but beats the man, whatever. he should've retired before vitaly. that was just sad going out like that. in my opinion.Comment

it's just too bad he was to much of a pansy not to fight ruiz and byrd.
and the only reason he fought vitali was because kirk johnson got injured during training camp.Comment
