What happened to Showtime being a major part of PBC from the beginning being false? 😂I be schooling you on the regular. Then explain why nbc and espn are out of the pbc biz after their contract is up this year and why there have only been 2 big pbc fights through 8 months that werent paid by showtime or spike (garcia-guerrero and wilder-arreola which isn't even really that big but will give that one to them) and why nbc is showing cheap b rate shows now. Explain why all the other big shows are all paid for and not with waddell and reed investor money. Because the money is running out? Bingo! I stay clowning you hoes.Comment

it isn't. it is separate. remember PBC is supposed to be free boxing for all lol and not a $20 a month subscription to Showtime. I do like how you didn't answer any of my questions about how through 8 months of this year PBC has had exactly TWO big fight cards this year.
I can see how you deflect from the task at hand.Comment

Do I remember that? Is that what the press release said? I don't think HBO Boxing necessary has to go, but I think for sure its moving towards changes.
I mean we've been seeing the budget get lower for almost 20 years straight. How much lower can they go? Now the boxing budget has gotten so low they can't put on Postol vs Crawford or GGG vs Lemeiux caliber fights between top guys in their respective divisions on regular HBO. Another notable change is the HBO Boxing guy used to be the President of HBO Sports. For the first time HBO has deemed their boxing guy, Peter Nelson, the VP of HBO Sports which hints at sports, if not boxing, holding less allure than it previously has.
I tend to think the way people view entertainment is on the verge of massive changes & I think HBO is among the most innovative people in that business. So I think for sure we will see some changes with how HBO & specific to this conversation how HBO Boxing operates.
I believe the most likely options for HBO Boxing are a streaming network where you would have access to HBO Boxing's library if not other non-HBO fights, flipping HBO Boxing over to HBO Latino exclusively to put it further in the backseat with a lower budget like its been doing for years or less likely, but maybe still viable is I could see them focusing only on PPV fights & maybe working with a more widely available channel (kinda like the TruTV deal, but perhaps with a more noteworthy channel) to build guys into PPV guys. I do still think they could opt out of boxing, cuz nothing lasts forever, but I suspect they'd try one of the things I mentioned or something else new before they closed up shop since they do have the rich history in the sport.Comment

I haven't been impressed with PBC in 2016. They can't even get their biggest names (Thurman, Broner, Garcia) to fight each other. By now, those three should be on each other's resumé.Comment

I already explained to you. And if you go back to last year with the "Free Boxing For All" banter they didn't advertise Showtime or ppv (Mayweather) fights at all. It was separate. Hell they didn't even tweet about the fights.
You continue to deflect. Explain to me why 8 months into the year we have had exactly two big cards on free tv that were paid for by pbc money which is nothing like the first 9 months of PBC's existence and now we get mostly low budget shobox level fights like last night's espn showComment

I don't need you to explain it. I posted the initial press release. Hmm let's see...you or press release straight from the source?I already explained to you. And if you go back to last year with the "Free Boxing For All" banter they didn't advertise Showtime or ppv (Mayweather) fights at all. It was separate. Hell they didn't even tweet about the fights.

and the press release doesn't say they are considered pbc fights on showtime just that they work together.
Again why only 2 big fights in 8 months. Stop the deflecting. Your lack of explanation only confirms that you know PBC is running out of moneyComment
