Froch has one punch KO power.

Nobody on Kovalev's resume has that kind of weaponry.

Duva isn't letting him go near anybody scoring KO's.

What has a years-ago fight JDJ had have to do with his comments about Ward's inadequacies?

BTW, Manny Steward had a practically non-existent amateur career, and didn't do that well at it. And Floydie Sr had a below average pro career. And Roger was starched by Lockridge and JCC Sr. Never can figure out why you supposed fans have such a twisted view of how things actually work in the sport. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Actually Brand tagged Ward several times, and Ward missed quite a bit.

We'll see how this thing goes soon enough. I'll be amazed if it isn't a good solid 50/50 fight. Even though I think Ward has slipped a bit, while Kovalev continues to improve. Funny though how no one seems to want to bring up that Ward was healthy for Brand, and Kovalev was sick and sidetracked for Chilemba. Just like injuries, these things happen. Last thing I'll say is... Kovalev learned more vs Chilemba than Ward learned vs Brand. That and, I'll predict if Kovalev stops Ward, it will be with an uppercut. Ward simply cannot figure out how to avoid them.

Kessler, Froch and Abraham are all Hall of Fame boxers and were a combined 80-3 before losing to Ward. Each fight had only 1 American judge and Sakio Bike was a replacement for an injured Andre Dirrell.

Bute was in Canada beating up 37 yr old Mendy and 42 yr old Johnson before getting exposed by Froch while Ward was dominating the 168 pound elite.
Dude Kessler and Abe have no prayer of making the HOF. Abraham was already well exposed by Dirrell and esp Froch.
