True! This might be a harder fight than Crawford. Crawford is overrated by American boxing media. I sense Bob Arum does not like Crawford fighting Pacquiao. It will be too risky for his next cash cow. Crawford going up in weight might diminish his punching power. Remember, Pacquiao dictates the conditions not Crawford.

Yet Freddie Roach doesn't want the Crawford fight and Koncz doesn't like his style.

      You guys aren't fooling anyone.

Kellerman knows that while Vargas-Pac might not be a horrible fight, it is not a big fight. Good for him for not acting like this is some great fight, even though there's a good chance he might be calling it.

I don't mind. The only fight he could win that would "prove" anything necessary would be against Mayweather, and he and Roach were unsuccessful in talking him out of retirement for a rematch, so it is what it is. It's not like Vargas is some complete, no-name fighter either.

The hilarious thing is that Vargas is probably on fucking steroids, so imagine if he ends up knocking Pacman out or something. Talk about karma coming to collect for all those years of Manny's own steroid KO power.

Max bigged up Pacquiao and talked down Mayweather on ESPN, citing his thoughts that Pac was going to fight Crawford for his next fight

But if Pacquiao gets the WBO belt from Vargas it almost guarantees that he'll come back, again after this fight, and if/when he does, it will be a unification bout or a mandatory defense, so maybe we get a couple of good match-ups with him still.

And if Vargas wins, he becomes the next star and all the other champs will be hungry for him so either way it sets up some good match-ups.

Well I can't blame him. After all, legends have bills to pay to. In addition, if he's successful, I am more than confident that he will fight again, because he needs the money.

Manny deserves a money grab although manny could have made more against broner Garcia Thurman etc. it was a top rank in house fight. Why should manny now fight Crawford toughest test not at biggest $. You remember Floyd fought Berto right?

always thought it was a myth that pacquiao was some fighter who was fearless and took on all comers. Most the people hes fought in last 7 or so years hve been past their primes or never that great in the first place. and then rematched bradley twice for no reason.

When Roach says "I don't think i'll accept Crawford as an opponent..." then you already know! Arum tried to change his mind, but Pac wasn't haven't none of it! Hopefully Arum can make Danny Garcia vs. Terence Crawford!
