Boxers often move up as they get older. Pacquiao won a title at 112. Mayweather started at 130.
Hatton weighed 200lbs in between fights and still fought at 140. Are you saying that he should have been a heavyweight or cruserweight fighter?

Does this mean Ricky Hatton could have fought GGG? You know Hatton blows up to over 200lbs between fight. Nah, brah, this only means Brook doesn't stay in fight shape, while GGG does. Can triple G makes 147 healthy? This is what tells you how many dead weight each fighter is carrying.

Right. Because that is what he needs to do. Its 30 days out and he is only 5 pounds away from 160. That is less than Canelo is and about where all top JRMW are. You're gonna have to come to grips with the GGG train coming through. Standing on the tracks screaming isn't gonna do much but get you run over.

It must really get to you that GGG is blowing you boy out in ratings. I asked a friend if he thought GGG should fight Lara, he said who.

Lara is a ****ing clown, he doesnt want Andrade, and never calls k2 while hoping for some reason they will give him a handout. Pffft!
          97k you fat loser

I fully agree, I think the same thing, but it's just impossible not to mention this when arguing with GGG haters, who used "GGG fighting a tiny welterweight" as one of the main reasons to discredit this match up. (For the record I'm not impressed neither with GGG - Brook because of the same reason you mentioned).

Now the difference between Brook and Maidana & others is that they blow up in weight between the training camps. Brook is 30 days away from the fight, so it's probably been a month AT LEAST since he's been in the gym.

Yet Hatton had no trouble making 140, he would just balloon up between fights.

Brook says he can't make 147 any more.

As you can see in photos, Brook and GGG are the same size.

                So basically he's a businessman.

                  176-160 = 16 pounds
                  176-147 = 29 pounds

By your reasoning, if Golovkin is a super middleweight, then Brook is a cruiserweight.
My math isn't the issue, your ridiculous attempt to justify this mismatch is.

edit: the guys bringing up Hatton are really killing you in this thread. hahahaha

Pac didn't start at WW either. Boxers transition into their natural weight as they gain advantage. This is a good weight for him and he doesn't look fat. Also, aren't you one of the morons who make 20 threads a day on why GGG should move up even though he is a small MW?
