At this weight Brook is more like a natural middleweight , too big for a light middle really ....he must have gone through hell to get to ww.
Whatever the result I can't see Brook doing ww .again....only trouble with this is Brook is fighting the best P4P fighter out there , never mind about the mindless knockerz anybody who knows boxing knows class when they see it and GGG. has tons of it!
Brave showing by Brook before he's mauled in to sumiton but can you imagine what GGG would do to all the other welterweights !
16 pounds over the limit at a 30 day span means they plan on sweating down to the linit (160) then exploding back to 175lbs. At 30 days out he's sparring at 178--168 and will be comfortable fighting at that mark as opposed to re hydrating to 170.
Taking off 16lbs. is a lot in 30 days even when your trimming fluids.
This is not about weight classes it's about power punching when you face GGG do your punches influence him or do his impress you?
Boxer vs Puncher can the boxer out fox the Puncher? Can the Puncher STOP the Boxer? That's the fight not Brook being a welterweight in the past.
Skills and desire, power matter not a few pounds!

Finally somebody who is talking strategy.....screw all those who oppose this fight because they are jealous of GGG....One of my Favorite Fighters Marvelous Marvin Hagler never left MiddleWeight......At Middleweight...Duran beat The Blade after The Blade had taken out Hearns who in turn had ko'd Duran.
Quite possibly Brook has not started cutting weight yet because he is trying to get his body accustomed to performing at a higher weight than it is used to. There's a science to this.
