Not the same thing though. Ward's power is that surprise power where he catches you mid combination or while you trying to walk him down. Brand was running away the whole fight so Ward was unable to do that to him, but Kovalev will be trying to walk Ward down and he'll get clipped in the middle of throwing a combo or get walked into something mean.
