Kovalev's chin isn't anything to brag about either..He was dropped hard in full headgear and was put down by light puncher Camparillo.

Kovalev has fought everybody worth anything at 175 (except Adonis). Ward hasn't fought anybody worth anything in 5 years and certainly none at 175 that prepares him for Kovalev. There's way more questionmarks hanging over Ward than Kovalev.

The only way Kovalev gets a ko is if he walks through Wards punches which will hurt but Ward isn't a big puncher. But I can't see Kovalev implementing that strategy. I say Kovalev by close decision win

If his chin is better than Brand's then we know what will happen. Nothing!

Not the same thing though. Ward's power is that surprise power where he catches you mid combination or while you trying to walk him down. Brand was running away the whole fight so Ward was unable to do that to him, but Kovalev will be trying to walk Ward down and he'll get clipped in the middle of throwing a combo or get walked into something mean.

There's a reason they say that 'styles make fights'.
