excitement and being entertained is in the eye of the beholder but winning is winning and losing is still losing.
kinda ****** to trash a fighter because his opponents cant adjust to their style...thats the opponents fault and the opposing trainers fault
I root for winners, not strugglers who end up brain dead by 28...boxing isnt played, you fight

Malignaggi was boring? That's the first i've heard. Again you're showing you don't know shit.

These are guys who was still skilled enough to score big WINS later in their careers compared to their counter parts who was "MORE EXCITING and did not have the same amount of success!

Anyone who is an A level fighter is somewhat skilled so your question is so ******. SUrely its more logical to recognise that being skilled doesnt automatically mean you have to be boring.

thats the way it is
Mayweather will be remembered as the best of his generation, clearly won majority of his fights, all time great, and will be spoke about in the same sentence as roy jones, whitaker, leonard, JCC...he already is
Only people who remember Gatti is HBO who pumped him up and his hard core fans
I'd rather be the all time great, boring winner.....than the good fighter who is exciting but lost to every elite fighter he faced and a club fighter in Ward.
different strokes, different folks
IM a winner and get motivated and inspired by it. Watching a dust up is fun sometimes but since I watch boxing for the tactics and technique, I get upset watching pros be reckless and careless. Gatti vs Ward is fun to watch but Gatti was ******. He fought with his heart and not his head. The time he wasted fighting on Ward's level, had he had his head together and just boxed like Buddy told him, he could have got a shot at Hatton or Tsyzu or other big names.
I been watching boxing over 20 years.....i hardly get overly excited, i watch the fights to learn
