This is a really ****** question and I have no idea why a consumer of the sport would outright root for a boring fighter. You have no stake in his career. You're mentally ill, Larry.
A consumer wants the best they can get, if that means it turns out boring so be it, the other guy wasn't good enough to make it competitive.

Name a boring fighter that isn't one of the most skilled in the sport? I've asked you this before and you had no answer.

^^^^^^thats why I laugh when people say "he boring doe".....i want to ask them "do you think he gives a **** as long as he wins, its the opponents fault for not adjusting"

its about winning at the end of the day. When I ran track and wrestled in high school i didnt GAF if the crowd was entertained, its about winning.

^ this is the difference between boxing fans and the new generation of boxing hipsters.

they think they are the ones that are actually fighting, it's so sad.

' its about the W doe'

Massively concerned with how much ' their ' fighter is getting paid, like they are actually part of their entourage.

who gives a *** about purses, PPV views, 'the W'. show me a good ****ing fight and stfu you complete bunch of benders.

i personally think its ill when posters pump up career strugglers(Gatt, ward level guys) good fighters who have life and death wars yet trash guys who win outright against top opposition(Mayweather, Prime roy jones)

excitement and being entertained is in the eye of the beholder but winning is winning and losing is still losing.

kinda ****** to trash a fighter because his opponents cant adjust to their style...thats the opponents fault and the opposing trainers fault

I root for winners, not strugglers who end up brain dead by 28...boxing isnt played, you fight

some people forget that the only reason that boxing is a professional sport is because there is a demand for it, if it wasn't it would be solely an amateur sport and none of this guy would have the millions they had etc etc.

for all the pro business guys in here, they forget this is an entertainment business and if there is no entertainment how do we call it? BORING!!
