    There wasn't any indication that we should rate his power after Saturday.

    So many flush shots, so little damage.

    Ward's just not a puncher. He has to frustrate and outbox Kovalev or he will get walked down and pummeled by the Krusher. He has more quickness and defensive ability but those pillows ain't hurtin no one.


    I doubt Kovalev will back up at all and is probably even more confident after Saturday.

      I think Boone had him down. Then again, Boone TKO'd Adonis Stevenson and knocked down Ward, too.

                  i had ward v brand 12-0 but i was not impressed with ward and felt like he let his feet off the gas i KNOW when a fighter is trying to go for a KO and he def was NOT
                  also one thang ALOT of ppl did NOT Point out about ward in that brand fight was that he wasnt cutting off the ring EFFECTIVELY he was one step behind brand while brand was moving to HIS left and to wards RIGHT this happened all night and it got under my skin

                    It is a rather large chin...

                    Obviously the power comes from how the punch is thrown and what's done at the end of the fist. Andre just doesn't have it like Kovo does. But Kovo doesn't possess Andre's skillset.

                    Can't wait for the face-off for this fight. They're both listed at 6 foot, with Kovo having just the slightest reach advantage. He sure looks taller and longer to me. We shall see...
