It's not a lame excuse.
HBO set the date of September the 10th in March of this year.
K2 dealt with Matchroom to fight Eubank on that date.
Again, why would he have put that date in jeopardy and walked away from a big U.K. PPV when his camp was due to start in about 10 days time?
Nobody would have done that.
Sure, it's to be expected that a lot of people are unhappy about the situation. But they've got to realise that GG actually signed a contract for Eubank and handed it back in.Comment

I agree with you. But one was taken through choice and the other one was taken through necessity.Comment

Again, they're both rubbish fights but it's ignorant for anyone to ignore the circumstances.
GG didn't give Brook anything. He accepted him as a last minute replacement. Your post implies that GG made him take the fight and wouldn't give a CW or let him have a longer camp etc. That wasn't the case.Comment

GGG took on Brook because, the other negotiation fell apart..
GGG took on Brook because, the other negotiation fell apart." Brook’s promoter Eddie Hearn offered the Golovkin fight to him after the negotiations between Golovkin and Hearn’s fighter Chris Eubank Jr. failed to produce a fight"
Hopkins is doing what Charlatans like La Hoya do best. Twisting things and confuse people, trying to get something for nothing.
There is a huge difference in size and skills between Khan and Brook. Brook will take out Khan if they fight. Brook is as big in size as GGG, Brook is a much bigger name than Khan.
Hopkins, why don't you convince you golden boy Canelo to fight GGG, this year, not 5 years from now when he is old.Last edited by LoveWisdomTruth; 08-08-2016, 12:29 PM.Comment
