I think ward and Hunter gave JDJ a hell of a lot more to think about especially when ward switched to southpaw. I know ward is naturally a lefty. He is much faster and more explosive from the southpaw stance than he is orthodox IMO. The only way I can see kovalev winning is by ko. I think ward is going to embarass kovalev. This will be a hell of a fight. November can't get here fast enough.

I really dont think Ward is what he once was. I cant knock Ward. He did have a good run...back then. Its gonna be hard for him to derail Kov. UNLESS....He tries to Run Clinch hold pot shot is way to a victory. That i dont think he will win. If he makes it a fight and gets to heated exchanges...Ward is going to sleep.


Pacquiao Vargas will be a lot better than Pacquiao Crawford would have been.
Vargas is gonna throw a ton of punches and bring it. Hes not gonna run all around the ring and not take chances and fight scared. Crawford will take the safe rd like he did with Postal. Not saying it will work against Manny but it will in fact make for a boring fight. Vargas will be more entertaining.

Compubox says brand landed 45 punches for the entire 12 rounds. I would not call that getting touched a lot. I would call that barely getting touched.

For someone like Ward who is supposed to be head and shoulders levels ahead of Brand I would say Ward got touched a lot. Against that type of none opposition, Ward should of not only dominated but not even let Brand land anything on him and Brand still landed some flush shots on Ward's grill the type of shots that if Kovalev lands it will be lights out for Ward. Ward was winded, kept switching to southpaw which to me looked like Ward might have hurt his hand on Brand's elbow against the ropes, don't recall which round. It looks like Ward is finding out that the jump to Light Heavy might have been more than he bargained for and I still see no way for Ward to keep Kovalev off of him for any amount of time. Ward has no power and never scared anyone at Super Middleweight and he sure as hell will get no respect from Kovalev!

Just walked out the Oracle Arena, Ward Took homie to school. Nuff said, I think kovalev is going to be shut down round by round & I love how Krusher fights. Ward broke down homie, dude musta grew up in the streets or some **** because any harder and Ward would broke his hand hitting his body lol. No idea how that guy made it.

Well HBO and the promoters have from now to November 19th to promote this fight. If HBO talks about this fight as much as they talk about GGG they will exceed 200k IMO

Was Bran super durable? Was Ward holding something back to get the rounds in? or does Ward just lack power at 175?

Kovalev has more power than Brand. Way more. Ward totally owned Brand offensively , not sure if he can stop Kovalev's hurtful punches, pretty sure Ward can't hurt Kovalev unless Kovalev is a lot weaker than he has shown up until now.
