yes, that's exaclty what that is. it's storytelling. you're using editing to tell a story from a subjective perspective.


watch the entire fight. you guys will either be surprised by the holding you see fmor kessler, or you're blinded by your biases. again, i'm not the guy who seem to think andre ward needs to cheat and fight in oakland to win. he dominated kessler on the outside, inside, before the cuts, after the cuts, wherever. they could have fought on the moon and kessler would have come home looking beat up and with another 0 on his record. and it hurts your feelings. and that's what we've got here.


can't wait fo the kovalev fight. the world champion, professional boxer you guys call "coward" is going to be in the toughest fight in boxing again . you guys must be awfully brave

as for he head clashes, i never said the guy was perfect. there were head clashes, and there were cuts.

i have said that head clashes aren't an indispensible part of ward's game, and havent' been a factor in most of his wins. you guys seem to think he needs to hold onto people for dear life and headbutt to win. he doesnt! watch the fights! andre ward actually tries to keep his hands free inside. he clinches, but he doesn't want a ref to break. it's within the rules to punch when you've got a free hand. kessler was doing a lot of holding himself.

i did say that headbutts had nothing to do with the outcome of the fight, as it was very obvious by the first cut [7th round IIRC] that kessler couldn't touch ward, and had lost every round.

contrary to the new england rules of boxing holding and hitting which is what you just described is illegal

they both were deducted points or in other words it was "pointless" . the ref subscribed to the "both sides do it!" fanboy mentality and was afraid to take a stand against the real cheater.

Yup As a Ward fan also not looking forward to this at all. I'll watch it cos I always enjoy seeing Ward box, but from a spectacle stand point it's terrible. If this wasn't leading to Kovalev next I'd be chopping into him.
