i thought the fight was closer than the commentators made it out to be but i still gave iglesias two rounds, even though i wanted giyasov to win

The commentators were saying during the first round that Igleasias was winning and was just so good, then they saw the scored for the Uzbekistani and they changed their tune saying that the Uzbekistani was winning. Common man you give the fisrt round to the Uzbek unanimous. Gyasov jumping in smothering and throwing slapping punches. Igleasias countering him the cleaner harder shots. Look at the replays find some highlights of Gyasov's work. Spoiler too, You don't see Igleasias in such ugly fights.

I can say he impressed me, it was definitely his best showing, he boxes so well, he's also calm and consistently accurate with his shots

It was a close fight that could have gone either way. The judges preferred Giyasov's activity and aggression.

giyasov actually has one of the more pleasing styles in this uzbek team imo. he has a bit of swagger about him. him, melikuziev and the flyweight from earlier are my favourite uzbeks

he whooped a spaniard and stanionis pretty good earlier in the tournament. and stanionis looked great in his first bout too

same way they gave the azerbeidjani figher the first two rounds against iglesias at the worlds but the uzbeki was tougher just not effective.
