Exactly. I criticized this fight, but it just irks me how the same people who got overboard criticizing this credit Floyd for doing the same thing but even cheating on the scales. Knowing Floyd he might have made Marquez wear pillows too though I'm just speculating.

Context is key. You were acting like GGG was the one who offered the fight to Brook. Brook was a last minute alternative, Eubank did not sign by the deadline, and he was obligated to fight on HBO in september. Tell me what would have been your alternative solutions. Would you decline a huge PPV payday in the UK and fight Tureano Johnson? I have a feeling you're going to say something ******ed like "how about not fighting a WW".

Honestly, I really didn't care who he fought. Primarily because I knew it would be a fighter that posed as much of a challenge as the rest of his opponents. It's pretty much a common theme at this point.

He's the same low risk/high reward fighter as everyone else in the business right now. The only difference is, other fighters actually have talent in their weight divisions and they eventually have to face someone. GGG is riding a gravy train on biscuit wheels with the weakest division in boxing right now. That clearly wasn't enough though, so he had to fight a WW next.

Everybody always knew Floyd was ten times the fighter Marquez was. No one was surprised he won the fight so it's not a fight alot of people put stock into.

I forgot they even fought because they are on different levels.

Do you know why they dont pose much of a challenge? Perhaps because GGG is just that damn good. And the guys who might pose a challenge are terrified of him. What is he supposed to do to get these guys in the ring with him? Take a 90/10 purse?

160 is the weakest division in boxing right now? LOL. That's a huge stretch, and an extremely ******ed statement. What about 118, 122, 135, 140, 154, 168(154 might have a lot of guys wiht potential but none of these guys besides Lara are as proven as Jacobs or Saunders, I mean look at 160 there's also Khytrov, Murata, and derevyanchenko who I see as more talented than the 154 guys)?

Lemieux got paid 1.5m for fighting GGG, Canelo is the biggest draw in boxing right now, and Khan got paid 2million. GGG clearly offers his opponents some of the biggest paydays in boxing right now.

Dominic is a nobody, and GGG was forced to fight him because he was a mando. That's an absolutely AWFUL example. GGG wasn't offering pennies to Saunders and Jacobs now was he? Fighting GGG is the biggest purse besides Canelo for those 2.

Why should he move up without becoming undisputed champion? Who is he going to fight at 168? They will be saying the same thing. Degale has a fight lined up with Jack, Zurdo is injured. Who do you guys want him to fight? Abraham? Smith? Bute?
