HBO turned down Walters/Loma. Turned down Crawford/Postol. AGOT is over really no reason to keep it around until next year.

Sure Salido/Vargas might of been a tad better but this had more on the line! This had two guys in their prime with ZERO losses. Same goes for Thurman/Porter. Even Porter was beaten before.

IDK it just seemed like this one had more at stake.

I also willingly admit that Santa Cruz/Frampton had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Santa Cruz has to do Frampton a solid & fight him in Belfast.

Terrible ratings. Showtime needs to clean house Espinoza has run them in to the ground. Santa Cruz did great ratings his fight on espn with mares. And he came back to showtime early this year to worse ratings then he had on showtime before the mares fight. And now he has a fight even better then mares on paper and it too flops on showtime.

You'll find that most of the classic old Sho fights also had poor ratings compared to big brother Hbo, they were just much cheaper than what they're paying now

Amazing ratings compared to the hbo ppv flops by ggg tha bum kila & crawford!!! Eyeballs is what matters and this fight was seen by almost 5 times more than ggg and crawfords ppv combined!

Eyeballs is not what matter dummy, espn2 was averaging more than his a few years back. Even a ppv dud will bring in a few million, that's better than nothing
