Danny fights on Sept 9th and Golovkin on Sept 10th, I think the WBA will have no choice but to order the fight on Monday Sept 12th as neither guy will have any other obligations.

That said, they'll probably agree to take separate fights in December and then fight in March '17. Both sides want the fight to be ppv, and this December looks bad for ppv with Ward/Kovalev & Pacquiao in November, and Canelo/Saunders will likely be ppv in December.

I don't like this Mora fight for Jacobs! It's not the fight he wanted, he got dropped by the guy, it's a lose-lose fight! It's a TRAP fight! I hope he wins, but stranger things have happened! Ask Amir Imam and Antoine Douglas!

Yeah I agree, he could really be overlooking Mora and thinking he can just knock him out anytime he wants. I actually see this rematch going the distance with Danny getting a UD.

They should've fought Lee or Chudinov.

Basically Jacobs is not going to accept anything that he feels is less than a Golovkin fight is worth, especially when there are other middleweight options available.

Danny already said the GGG fight is 12to18 months away for him, so he doesn't want that work right now!

I hate to admit it, but you're 100% correct! There was no need for a Mora rematch at this point! Jacobs should've been calling for GGG right after the KO of Quillen! However, GGG was looking to fight Saunders just like Jacobs was! They both (GGG & Jacobs) must feel Saunders brings more money to the event! Now they're both fighting weaker opponents, and it looks like Canelo will get Saunders before them both! WINNER...Billy Joe Saunders!

Lol, you're right. Saunders will end up getting that big payday for Canelo. Its funny how everyone's been chasing both Saunders and Canelo and they'll end up fighting each other. Im not sure if anyone thinks Saunders brings more money or that he's just the weakest link, kinda like Liam Smith.

And I agree 100% that the WBA needs to order Golovkin v Jacobs right after Golovkin- Brook. Get rid of that regular and super champ crap, and I hope they dont allow for any interim fights or anything.

You're making my point for me. While Jacobs hadnt announced his opponent to be Mora until recently, he has been claiming to have an upcoming fight since July 13. Again, notice the timing of WBA saying they would order the fight and Jacobs saying I have a fight against "somebody" (just not Golovkin)

I was wondering when someone was going to catch that it surely didn't look like Danny in the ring Saturday night, did it? But yet, he would say anything back in May when the WBA was saying they would order a fight, not to have to fight GGG. Just more reasoning that Jacobs does not want to fight Gennady.
