Jacobs isn't the mando. He would have been but he decided to fight Mora instead. GGG will not be stripped of his title because Jacobs doesn't want to fight him. What you are saying is idiotic.

Again, notice the timing of WBA saying they would order the fight and Jacobs saying I have a fight against "somebody" (just not Golovkin)

He can say he has a fight against his banker wouldn't matter if WBA said that fight you discussing will have to be put on hold and you guys do mando duties or be stripped

Less tjan 48 hours later, Jacobs was unavailable, having secured the Barclays against TBA (later determined to be Mora).

Bottom line: Jacobs heard they were going to order him to fight GGG and ran for the hills
So you're saying that Team Jacobs was supposed to wait until GGG and Canelo went through negotiations before securing his own venue?

...only if he wanted to fight Golovkin. Two weeks isnt that long in the big scheme of things, especially considering how long its been since Jacobs has fought

Just watch Pirog shifting and then Jacobs -- who doesn't have a clue about what is happening!

I don't know what the WBA is waiting for! GGG, I believe, has defended all his other belts, so he needs to defend his WBA title now. They need to make the fight happen! I like Jacobs, but if he loses to Mora, his career will be headed in the wrong direction at light speed! He should've forced the issue right after he beat Quillen! That was the time to call out GGG, not BJ Saunders!

I hate to admit it, but you're 100% correct! There was no need for a Mora rematch at this point! Jacobs should've been calling for GGG right after the KO of Quillen! However, GGG was looking to fight Saunders just like Jacobs was! They both (GGG & Jacobs) must feel Saunders brings more money to the event! Now they're both fighting weaker opponents, and it looks like Canelo will get Saunders before them both! WINNER...Billy Joe Saunders!

Danny fights on Sept 9th and Golovkin on Sept 10th, I think the WBA will have no choice but to order the fight on Monday Sept 12th as neither guy will have any other obligations.

That said, they'll probably agree to take separate fights in December and then fight in March '17. Both sides want the fight to be ppv, and this December looks bad for ppv with Ward/Kovalev & Pacquiao in November, and Canelo/Saunders will likely be ppv in December.
