they're in different divisions now. if rigo really wants that fight then he should move to 126 and face cuellar and/or zambrano and make himself carl's mandatory instead of sitting on his arse putting out a tweet occasionally
w/r/t lomachenko, as i recall that fight didn't get made because rigo wanted more than the $500k arum was willing to offer. kind of silly to turn that amount of money down when you have absolutely no other options
but if rigo is truly a small super bantam then how about he moves down to 118? the japanese boxing audience already knows him so he might be able to get the yamanaka fight (but didn't gary hyde propose relocating to japan a year or two ago and rigo said no?) and i think frank warren would also like to make rigondeaux vs. zolani tete in the UKComment

Him and his team are apparently a pain to deal with outside the ring as well.frampton is a good little fighter.
rigondeaux has literally scared american networks away. people turn off the TV when he fights. i get that he's a great boxer, but these are TV networks in the business of not giving things away [like fights that don't generate revenue, or build stars.]
For someone who brings nothing to the table, he refuses to take small splits, and look at the situation with Jazza ****ins. They were supposed to fight months ago, but Rigo randomly disappeared abroad without telling anyone and the fight had to be cancelled.
The guy is a diva. If he was really this warrior that the Rigotards claim, why didn't he fight Loma? He wanted too much $$.Comment

Rigo shouldve taken his career to Mexico a long time ago. The "Mexicutioner" label has done wonders for peoples career. By now Mexicans would be paying top dollar to see someone beat him. This right here has to make one realize that Rigo has terrible management. If you think about it, if Rigo got the Mexicutioner name, a fight with Valdez @126 wouldve generated alot of buzz and probably paid Rigo out very nicely win or lose. Now Rigo is left looking for a pot of Gold against an Irishman with a hell of a lot more options and we all know Haymon isnt putting any of his guys against Rigo anytime soon or he wouldve signed him long ago.so I don't see how money is a factor really besides ever thought other fighters need too earn a living as well? Not just whose nuts you're hanging off justifying their cowardice.
What is it about the money or excitement? You can even say both so why is he trying to fight either Lee Selby or Gary Russell Jr? Neither are exciting and probably much lesser draws than Rigo who done crazy numbers when he fought in Japan, has fought in Ireland all over the world including the U.K in sold out arena's.
Every U.K boxing fan I know supports him and gets behind him tbf
Fans should want to see the best fight the best.
Rigo is far more exciting than these potential future opponents who have done nothing but stink out arena's winning boring uneventful decisions.
Rigo has even changed his damn style to get a dance partner and the only guy thus far with any boll)cks at all has been Jazza ****ens put some respek on this mans name.
A loss isn't the end of the world. If you fight the best continually you're gonna lose some.
If he lost so what he lost to an amazing boxer he could always rematch Quigg, LSC or whatever
Its not just this or Frampton either, Canelo, ******* Sanders are another pair of ****ing ******* thing is I don't see many defending them but loads defending Frampton. BJ Sanders especially laughable when the guy can't draw flies to **** he should be grateful a guy like Golovkin is even giving him time or day.
I seriously can't believe Frampton he not only said he'd fight Rigo but mocked Quigg saying he won't and he'll run from it. Turns out the exact opposite happened which I kind of expected. Scott Quigg has balls, this guy is a little puppet being controlled by the entire McGuigan clan.
Barrie the manager, Shane the trainer, Barrie's brother his financial adviser lol Barry's wife probably even getting paid to do the c*nts dishes no wonder he's making such a huge deal over just how many millions he'll be getting for his next fight.Comment

Rigo doesnt deserve ****. He's repeatedly turned down good paydays when the guy has literally caused the audience to walk out. **** Rigo he doesnt deserve anything, the fans are paying his ****ing bills and if he isn't willing to show up and put up a show then I have zerp sympathy.Comment

Rigondeaux screwed his career up by beating down Donaire. Bob Arum didn't see that one coming and hated Rigondeaux for ruining what he hoped was his next Pacquiao. Once Bob started trashing Rigondeaux, everybody did.
Has anyone ever seen a promoter work so hard to destroy one of their fighters like Arum did with Rigondeaux? He actually paid a pr firm to trash him on facebook and twitter. Pretty low even for Bob's standards. And guess who's there to eat up all of his words?
As for Frampton, he's pretty much headed for a run of low risk/high reward fights. He can claim it's a money matter with Rigondeaux, but his true nature will come out when he starts turning down a fight with Valdez.Comment

No he screwed his career by not throwing any punches vs walkover opponents and having fans boo him most every time. He was given Ppv undercard slots by Arum, early title shots and the 750k purse vs Donaire. Who was no cash cow and clearly had zero Pac potential, seeing his struggles vs similar sized opponents at 122. Rigos been free from Arum for a while, hows that going now that's he's no longer held down by Arum?Rigondeaux screwed his career up by beating down Donaire.
