Without being disrespectful, because I respect the fact he comes to fight, Williams Jr is not particularly good.

He was dominated and stopped by Campillo, a guy Kovalev wrecked in 3 rounds.

He went life and death with Cornelius White, a guy Kovalev wrecked in 3 rounds.

He only just came out the right side of a shootout with Rodriguez.


Adonis has a big left hand, but it only really works on LHWs with a vulnerable chin like Dawson, Williams Jr, Karpency, Sukhotsky etc.


Stevenson knocking over weaker opposition and appearing better than he is, is exactly the impression Haymon wants to create by making the match-ups but it's an illusion.

Anyone think he does it to Hopkins, Beterbiev, pre-Kova Pascal? nope, and that's why he is kept out of their way.

He's wide as ****... like super wide w/his punches... you saw that in everyone of his fights. It was fun to watch and him vs Rodriguez was just them throwing wide ass shots and rock'em sock'em.

I still don't see how people didn't expect Adonis to pick his wide ass off... unless they anticipated the lay-off to be that bad....adonis was getting tired

Stevenson does and should get alot of flack for not fighting Kovalev , Pascal or even Bute . And Yes his opponent wasn't necessarily Elite level competition . And to u posters that want to get personal Yes he does have a Shady past ... But Damn that was a Fun fight !!!

Lets not go nuts about a Thomas Williams KO now. I mean Stevenson doesn't suck or anything & for sure he has a punchers chance vs anyone, but at this point I'd favor Kovalev, Ward & Beterbiev over him. Ain't no shame in losing to any of those guys doe.

I just watched his fight with Williams Jr, didn't even realise it was going to happen, which I guess is the problem when you lose out on fights against Pascal, Hopkins and Kovalev but what a fight.

It's right up there alongside LSC/Frampton, Vargas/Salido, Rod/Williams and Thurman/Porter as one of the best fights of 2016. These were 2 seriously big man throwing seriously lethal punches.

Stevenson is the best one punch KO artist in the sport today. I just hope he fights one of the top dogs sooner rather than later.

Williams jr was taylor made for Stevenson in terms of style and he's not really that good, he kept dropping hig right hand making room for Stevenson's left even though he saw the pattern coming from the beginning of the first round.
