What do you mean why wait? Did you not just see the fight Thurman just had? It's doubtful he fights this year anyway, according to Espinoza. We're just going in circles here.

Your Herrera argument is just ******. ******. Azumah Nelson was supposed to be a soft touch for Salvador Sanchez. No one knew him so no credit to Sanchez for that cherry pick.

sure i'm the ****** one. thurman has one tough fight in his whole career and should take the rest of the year off. and garcia should keep fighting the stellar opposition he's been fighting. what a moron i am.

No, I'm not saying you're ******. I'm saying that specific argument is. Why are we complaining about that fight now? Herrera has proven himself to be a tough opponent. Peterson was a tough opponent. Guerrero was a tough opponent. And so will Thurman when they square off. Your argument is all over the place and it's getting redundant. Is it Garcia's fault that Thurman probably won't fight again this year? And if he does, it's his mandatory?

peterson was the best opponent he has since 2013. the rest were not selected to be tough tests as you said, garcia just underperformed. you are right it is getting redundant.

            Because B-level =\= D-level.

I don't think this fight is really that bad at all when you look at it by itself...

BUT when you consider Danny's last few fights, this fight is a letdown.

A guy like Berto is who a champ should be fighting in between his big fights...we shouldn't be considering Berto a big fight.

Paulie, Guerrero, Berto are all guys that are fine fights in between a big fight...not ok when you fight all 3 in a row.

Garcia can toss the leather, but he doesn't look good when under pressure and gets hit clean. Berto is experienced, reckless, but have some serious speed and power.if he can avoid swifts left hook he's knocking garcia out.

These people need to stop the BS. Garcia needs huge money even for a Berto fight. Reason why he's not fighting.
