Any version of Cotto stops any version of Maidana.

Cotto is going to be countering and unloading on Maidana all night, the body shots are going to be a huge problem for Maidana as well.

No doubt, if Maidana comes in lean and conditioned, Cotto is in trouble.

Maidana punches at like 20% connect rate, he poses zero threat to Cotto. Being wild and not connecting doesn't win you fights vs superior boxers. "if Maidana has anything left", when Cotto dominates him you'll say "Maidana had nothing left", typical dumb comments. He just went toe to toe with prime Canelo and didn't get stopped, Maidana stops him? Yea great post dude.

          Toe to toe?

He ran all night long lol.

Maidana closes distance better than Alvarez cotto will have nowhere to run.

He will resort to hiding in the corner like he did against prime marg.

Cotto is an on top fighter he crumbles when hit back

          Maidana will damage him

Nope sorry, don't see it. Maidana isn't good, even in his prime he wasn't that good. He has zero shot to beat Cotto, prime or not. He's too wild and his boxing is god awful, throw in bad accuracy with his punches and you got a sitting duck.

Cotto outboxes maidana. I have never seen a boxer become so undisciplined and gain so much weight what an embarrassment to Argentina maidana is

This would have been a great fight last year. Unfortunately Chino will be coming off more than a 2 year layoff if this happens next.

If Maidana comes back he needs at least 2 fights just to ease back into 147 or 154. I don't even know if Maidana has even stepped inside a gym since the Floyd fights.

Cotto is the better boxer but by a very slim margin.

Lol at calling Maidana inaccurate, he didn't rack that KO ratio with windmill punches. His defense is also arguably better than Cottos.

Maidana bullies Cotto and hurts him badly.
