You can't keep gaining muscle indefinitely and it is not as easy to move up if you fight around your normal weight.Even at 168, he will be at a disadvantage because his opponents will come 10 lbs over him on fight night. There are taller fighters than GGG in LW. MW is perfect for him as it maximizes his fitness potential. He has no reason to move up specially when he is making 2m+ per fight these days.
He will move up to SMW at least, maybe just once to get a title, but later.

They already stated they want to break Hopkins record of 20 defenses and unify the division so they won't leave forever 160 by now.

And that's a hell of a good goal, yet GGG seems to be more attracted by belts.

We just can hope GGG can secure fights with BJS, Jacobs, Eubank or Nelo so the quality of this title reign will be legit.

GGG ain't no coward, he has been ducked by Martinez, Sturm, Cotto, Nelo, Quillin and now Jacobs who stated he wants to fight him "in 18 months".

They said it for Mayweather, they NEVER said they would go down for anyone at 154.

You perfectly know they picked Brook cuz Eubank jr back pedaled.

Saunders and Jacobs asked for too much money... Eubank was all bluffing...
Canelo draws enough star power and doesn't have to look for GGG... Even at 168 I don't see who would fight him -- Zurdo, maybe, but a year and a half from now.

Sure he is ...look how long he stayed in the amateurs....the way he ducked Ward and didn't want to lose a few pounds to get a career payday with Canelo...and now Welterweight Kel Brook.

            That is a ****in coward.

Seems like 155 would be easy for a "small MW" who said anybody from 154 to 168 can get some.

Jacobs is GGG's wba manditory...Danny isn't ducking anybody..

Jacobs fought Pirog when he was 23....what was GGG doing when he was 23 besides selling Yak butter on the roadside..

              Jacobs is GGG's wba mando.

He claims he was severely low-balled by GGG's team...he ain't the only one making that claim.

GGG is building his brand in UK right now. I think after Brook fight, the fight against GGG in UK will be quite lucrative for both Eubank and Saunders. Jacobs is probably not anywhere near his goal as fighting him neither brings fame nor money. I was really looking forward to the Eubank fight though. Sad. As long as Canelo doesn't swipe the BJS fight, BJS will probably look into GGG because he isn't really making much money right now.

Jacobs vs Quillin had 400k viewers in free tv. How much money do you reckon he should be offered? I think 500k $ is what he will bring to the fight and he should be paid that much, no more than that. Money doesn't fall from the sky.

GGG was a world amateur champion at 23 wich is still a better accomplishment than being sparked by Pirog.

You also must know Pirog withdrew from a GGG fight in 2012 and retired.

Would have been a helluva fight, but not worthy to discuss this point with you since you're only interested to sht on GGG with your agenda.
