Garcia/Berto, here we go again with yet another easy B.S. matchup for one Danny Garcia. Here is a title holder fighting another washed up fighter. Why in the hell he just doesn't challenge a Shawn Porter or yet unify against "One time" Keith Thurman? They all fight under the same banner. It's because he fears getting his ass whooped and yet he is still getting his ass whooped against these hand picked opponents; Even though he is getting his hands raised after each and every one of them by the referee.

This is why Danny Garcia has lost a lot of respect from boxing fans since the Lucas Matthysse fight; That's of course if you're not one of his fan boys. Why does he want to challenge another diminished, shop worn opponent, who is no longer at his prime or physical peak?

This just amazes me. Danny you are better than this. Fight the best already! I place part of the blame on Al Haymon for allowing himself in being fleeced by Angel Garcia for overpaying Danny for these low risk high reward fights.

This coward is making a mockery out of the sport of boxing and should just retire.

Did you actually watch that fight? Berto hurt his shoulder in the 1st round. He fought 11 rounds with one arm. And his injury was legitimate, not that fake sh.it Pacquiao tried to sell to everyone.

No, he's coming off a one-sided loss to TBE. Yes, he made Ortiz quit, but the TBE loss makes this fight more of a joke.

#48 = Only coming back to do an in house fight vs Jessie Vargas.

Amir Khan = Needs time to recover from his terrible KO loss.

Errol Spence Jr = He is fighting in a world title eliminator vs Leonard Bundu.

Shawn Porter = Will most likely take a tuneup after the Thurman L.

I mean, it is what it is, when you look at the 147 landscape you realize that Garcia/Berto isn't even that bad. The kid Andre has decent ring movement and his speed/power are def above decent. His style can def make it an interesting fight, remember that the blueprint for DSG is out! (see Mauricio "El Maestro" Herrera & Lamont "Mandingo" Peterson).

Bottom line is i am excited for this sht and i am def tunin in, son.
Berto is not a kid, has awful to nonexistent movement, and his speed and power mean little because of his lack of stamina or skill. His style is tailor made for Garcia and nothing like either Herrera or Peterson, who don't fight anything like the same style either.

Berto is a lousy fight for Garcia. Yes, it was an awful fight for Floyd also which is why I didn't even watch it. Berto is done and he gets laid out by "THE GARSH" in the 5th round.

                  Expected responses:

                  Peterson doe!

Lil' G ain't step up doe!

                  Free tv doe!

Yes, I get all that. Doesn't change the fact that Garcia is for the most part being spoon fed in one of the most stacked divisions.

Glad they moved J-Rock/Charlo up and off a Tuesday. Be a good card for Philadephia, but Charlo might refuse. Meadowlands, NJ at the IZOD Center would make excellent choice.
