But Manny was also fighting his rival Marquez 2 times at WW, he fought Bradley 3 times, those guys aren't WW, so isn't Manny.
Then Manny fought bigger guys at WW.
Everybody ignoring the Clottey win, but Clottey was regarded as an avoided fighter who should have gotten the decision vs Cotto.
The Cotto win ignored too bcause of a CW but Floyd is credited of a CW win over Alvarez. I'm telling you Floyd is getting a pass with a lot of things.
Floyd have been a WW for years, more than Manny.
Ortiz was horrible, he did quit vs Maidana.
I'm not calling Mayweather a duck, I'm just saying he was a smart matchmaker, and protected himself fighting once a year and picking too often average guys, and I truly believe the Marquez KO decided Floyd to fight Manny.
Floyd fought good fighters late in his career (Cotto, Alvarez, Mosley, Maidana, Manny), he had a last run which somehow enhanced his legacy.
The thing is Cotto, Mosley, Pac happened way too late.
Floyd isn't young himself but those guys are somehow sluggers and were quite washed up.
Maybe not his fault, but Kellerman is right when he says Floyd had an easier path: level wise but also size wise.
Yet Floyd had a tougher path than most fighters, but Floyd is regarded as the best of the modern era so, he is on a different level and a different standard.
As usual, Floyd wanted it both ways.
