Idk. Sometimes he comes off as humble and then he starts talking about that street life with Lundy at a presser....he's kind of odd. He clearly has an ignorant side to him, but I feel like he wants the support of the blue collar folks of Omaha, and so he won't [often] won't go around acting like a thug or even booshie. His coach/co-manager is annoying tho. I look at him and I just think, "the black fat dan" - I don't see too many people liking him. But Crawford can be liked. Furthermore, I don't think being disliked is a necessary key to selling, he'll get recognized off good victories, that's first and foremost.
I'll admit I couldn't imagine him being a superstar like Top Rank was hyping him to potentially be, but now I'm starting to see their gameplan...it's rather simple, match him in big enough fights and let him garner the audience through winning.
