Crawford is better as a southpaw...that's why he switches early and stays that way almost every fight.

Yeah.....he won that fight by TKO doe. I can't tell you how many times I've seen this fight brought up as a basis to say "slick southpaws" are GGG's kryptonite. He won that fight by TKO first off and it would be naive to assume that he hasn't improved since then. Additionally, he has beaten every southpaw he has ever faced, lol.

Lara gets smoked man, and GGG fights nothing like Postol does.

The same would be said of Postol next to Lil G - thus, it is silly to think that G would be making the same silly mistakes that Postol did. Totally different skill levels.
Postol chased Crawford all around the ring. Who in Lil'G's resume moved liked Crawford? I'm just talking the footwork. Rubio? Lemieux? Murray at that speed like Crawford?

            heance, Lara.

the point is foot work. Of course Golovkin is not Postol. The same way as Crawford is not Lara. lol I'm talking about points. Lara too quick for Golovkin, and I doubt Lara will fight Golovkin the way he has before. Lara has been battle tested. Martirosyan is WAY FASTER than Angulo. Styles make fights. People like to bring up MOlina saying Molina won....the same way as people CASUALLY never bring up the Paul Williams bout. lol

Lara couldn't even box circles around Candelita man.....come on now.

as long as industry writers went along the bandwagon of "controversial" decision over that bout what does your point mean?

I disagree, GGG has a JAB, the way you cut the ring off is with the jab not just your footwork, the jab can kinda get your opponent to go where you want him to go. You can't just move your feet with your opponent and not throw any punches and expect to trap him like Postol Did. Timing and Reflexes in boxing is MORE IMPORTANT than Power.

I get your point, BUT the ONLY p4p BOXER who thrusts a jab going forward offensively is Kovalev. He has that pouncing upper or body jab even when an opponents is on the move.

That's not how Golovkin fights. Golovkin only jabs when a fighter is engaged in the pocket, and against which opposition...

Which was the problem. Chasing a southpaw without a plan and relying on a jab that requires a setup and planted feet. He never had a chance as I specifically said back in May - only to have tons of people online swear it was a 50/50 fight. Where?

That's the problem with casuals watching boxing. They see a guy like Chris Algieri get past Provod and all of a sudden he's keyed to beat Manny Pacquiao?

Same thing with Matthysse and Postol. I was not impressed there either. Lucas quit. Period. Crawford wasn't going to stand and trade until he saw an opening and if he stayed on the outside, Postol had no chance. That's exactly what happened.

The problem with trying that crap on Golovkin is that he is way more capable of catching you on the outside, and one good punch can end your night. Which means Crawford would have to tangle with him, and he's not been tested to that degree yet. Gamboa did wobble him.
