What a terrible comparison. You're comparing a rangy fighter who loves countering smaller opponents as they walk in to a guy with power in both hands who can cut off the ring with ease. It's not even close.

As much as I'd like to see GGG/Lara over the Brook fight, GGG would catch Lara the same way Angulo and Canelo did. Lara loves moving to his right with his guard up and he is wide open to left hooks upstairs and right hooks to the body. Angulo caught him several times that fight witht he same left hook as Lara moved away to his right.

Matthysse is not a ring owner at the elite level with footwork. He's your in the pocket guy who's good, but not good against boxers with reach. Lucas shouldn't even be mentioned.

Context = Lara (Southpaw style) and movement.

The guy to beat Golovkin will have to be able to trade with GGG and make GGG respect his power. Guys like Lara who don't have that big of a punch are easy prey for GGG because he can walk through anything they have.

In comparison to who? Only Golovkin. If he wasn't in that division, it would be good and competitive, but he's head and shoulders above everyone there (Which is why moving up NEEDS to be an option, but that's a whole different argument)

If I'm being honest, Canelo has a lot to do with GGG staying at 160. That's the biggest money fight he's going to get and I don't blame him for wanting a winnable money fight. That being said, how long can a 34 year old fighter continue to wait?
