Well people are paying to see Oscar De La Hoya fight, not really Mayorga. 90%+ of the people that are actualy paying for the PPV fight are only paying to see Oscar. If it was Mayorga vs. Karmazin noone would pay to see that fight, even though both Karmazin and Mayorga have belts. ODLH is a likable guy, its hard not to like him. Though 2mil does seem like bull****.

mayorga got a shot at the belt againts that italian after losing to tito, Vargas was the mandatory againts the italian but mayorga got it. what do you think of that?

Mayorga is a Bum, anyone can talk s**t about a fighter but untill the last few days leading up to the fight it starts to dawn on you what you have done and that`s exactally whats happening to Ricardo he thinking "I could be another Fernando Vargas"

Man if you guys are freaking out imagine DLH right now.

Its part of the head games. I'll bet MAyorga will come to the ring late to mess with DLH head a bit.

DLH's camp runs a tight operation and they have no idea whos giving mayorga an extra $ 6 million. They probably had dozens of guys work on the numbers and every penny is accounted for.
Most fighters are told how much they get paid before they sign and shown on the papers before they sign. I would triple check before signing papers with King because King is taking a special cut.

IF anybody watches the video closley you can see that this was all "Tony Gonzalez"...telling mayorga ok do it now, and mayo was like "no you do it", you can here it in Spanish. I am sure his lawyer/manager planned it all..Mayorga wants to get paid you can't knock him for that, but he said things like "probablemente" ect ect...just to scare King or whoever is ****ing for $$.. 2 Million? He promoted the whole fight by all the **** talking..but whatever, I hope this helps the odds go back up to 4-1, 2.5 to 1 was nothing..I hope he gets a piece of the PPVs..

Actually Mayorga was Castillejo's mandatory for the title. Castillejo wanted to fight vargas instead so he was stripped of the title.
