DAMN!!..what the F**K is going on with this **** man. Everytime, everytime there is a great anticipated fight coming up, something like this happens, something controversial etc. I dont know but if mayorga is f**king with oscar or even if he is not but fights in the end, this will be good to get oscar out of his head. You know oscar cant be feeling good at the idea of training so hard not to fight and postponing his "second to last" fight.

a contract is a contract. simple as that. if oscar's getting 20 mil, and mayo's only getting 2, i'd say that's rather unfair. Oscar IS the bigger draw, however, this is something mayo should have brought up IN CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, NOT A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE THE FIGHT. That's what's bull****.

Well people are paying to see Oscar De La Hoya fight, not really Mayorga. 90%+ of the people that are actualy paying for the PPV fight are only paying to see Oscar. If it was Mayorga vs. Karmazin noone would pay to see that fight, even though both Karmazin and Mayorga have belts. ODLH is a likable guy, its hard not to like him. Though 2mil does seem like bull****.

Are you serious? If it was during contract negotiations where Mayorga demanded 8 mil or no fight, then cool. You dont do that months after you've signed the contract, the week of the fight. That's not "right", that's bull****. Mayorga is either trying to draw more attention, or he's afraid of Oscar De La Hoya. I was watching the buildup for this match, and Mayorga said: "I hate him so much, I'll fight him for free". Looks like he's afraid to fight him for 2 million dollars.
