I agree. And believe it or not but the Mexican community is giving him HELL about that BS he pulled. He lost 50% of fans just on that alone.

If he somehow get's Saunders belt and they can do an all for nothing fight on May 6th 2017!!! Would be HUGE!!!!

    At LEAST $2million buys.

Ward went up to avoid Gennady, if Gennady goes up he will keep moving up. This coward doesnt want it. He rejected the fight 5 times, what makes you think he'll accept if we go after him again.

Actually GGG is getting over 10 mil to fight Brook. When is the last time Ward got that kind of payday?

Also Ward has never headlined a PPV before to my knowledge. GGG did last year, and is about to headline one in the UK. Ward will headline his first vs a top three P4P fighter. GGG headlined his vs David Lemieux.

Canelo is hardly a PPV star by the way. Gets about 300k views to fight highly anticipated fights vs Lara or another popular Mexican in Angulo. GGG got half that against a Canadian who hadn't fought on HBO all year. If it was GGG-Lara it probably gets at least 200k.

So Canelo is 35% more popular PPV wise when he fights similar opponents... and GGG is getting five times more $ for his next fight than Ward is, and probably twice as much as Ward will even get against Kovalev.

But that doesn't count? You're the moron if you think vague labels matter more than logic. Before the standard was always the bigger star was the A-side, period. Now you try to argue that doesn't matter for GGG-Ward because even though GGG is a bigger star, he's not a PPV star, so he's not a big enough star himself. Well if GGG is a bigger star than Ward, but he's still not a big enough star for it to count, then how big a star does that make Ward? That must make him even further away from being a PPV star, so that still makes him the B-side.

2 is twice as much as 1, just like 100 is twice as much as 50. You can't answer that fact by saying "yeah but 2 isn't 100." It's about relativity. Canelo is a bigger PPV star than GGG, but GGG is a bigger PPV star than Ward, so why is Canelo being a bigger star than GGG relevant but GGG being a bigger star than Ward not relevant? I'm trying to think how else I can explain it but you just don't want to see your own inconsistency I guess. That's the hallmark of someone who is biased against certain fighters, they can never admit their own bias to themselves even when it's so damn obvious.

Hell, I remember people saying Rigondeaux should take whatever Donaire offered him to get the fight, whatever terms, because Donaire was the A-side. Yet, Donaire was never a PPV star either. So it's never been about that and you know it! There's never been a minimum barrier of being a PPV star to be an A-side LOL. Talk about out of left field. I wonder who was the A-side last saturday, Deontay or Arreola? I'm pretty sure it was Deontay, and yet he's not a PPV star. So there have been so many discussions of A-side B-side on boxingscene with almost every top fighter and their fights, and almost none of them besides Pacquiao and Floyd are PPV stars. So there you go. You have applied inconsistent standards when judging GGG, if not compared to your prior standards of A-side/B-side, then at least inconsistent with the standards put forth by the Floyd/Ward fan contingent on boxingscene.

I didn't say Golovkin would jump right at Ward at 168. Of course, I believe he'd test the waters first. That's why I said if he brings his power up with him, he'd fight Ward.

There's no way this fight happens now, Golovkin isn't going to go up to 175 and Ward isn't going to come down below 175. Missed the boat on this fight happening. Plus if Golovkin did go up to 175 and lose which he would, everyone will have a million excuses or complaints. Its best if this fight didn't happen at this point.

What a bunch of fucking clowns. You blatantly swerved the man until all the "mega fights" GGG was going to get failed to materialise, and now you want to mention his name when he's moved up already?

                They can fuck right off.

Oh, the offer had no impact on the Lemieux fight. It could've been GGG's second fight this year. Instead, we've got him fighting a welterweight. Well played.

                  Stop it.

GGG wouldn't move up to 168 and take on Ward first, so yes he'd have to focus on 168 and not the three titles he was chasing in 2015/2016. Lemiuex was signed. Do you really think Canelo would be forced to vacate if GGG was gonna move up anyways, no. WBC wouldn't of done it. Plus they had Lee lined up until he lost.

                  Ward's offer was a joke.
Once again, Kovalev accepted the same 2 fight tune-up deal that Ward offered Golovkin and now their fall/winter PPV is literally one Ward victory from coming to fruition.

You say Golovkin wouldn't move up a face Ward at 168 in his first fight at 168 yet Brook is moving up 2 divisions to face Golovkin for his first fight at Midddleweight and Khan did the exact same thing against Canelo. What you say Golovkin wouldn't do, has been done many times in boxing...

                  Hopkins vs Tarver
                  Mayweather vs De La Hoya
                  Marquez vs Mayweather
                  Cotto vs Martinez
                  Hearns vs Hagler
                  RJJ vs Ruiz
                  Spinks vs Holmes
                  Calzaghe vs Hopkins

                  Hmmm??
