I don't care about the rest of this debate, imo both golovkin and Canelo are duckers. Golovkin has yet to prove himself in 35 fights, which is beyond pathetic. Canelo should be fighting one of the charlo Bros, or Andrade, etc if he wants to continue to prove himself.
As far as GayLoveKin, I'd be happier and glad to acknowledge that he was attempting to do something even if he went up and fought Abraham first. They are the same height, Abraham is a come straight ahead guy, and would test Golovkin's chin.
Either way, Golovkin's resume means less than canelo's at this point. His opposition has not been as good, no matter what anyone tries to say. If you disagree. It's because you're a fanboy, or just simply ******.Last edited by Metho_4u; 07-31-2016, 07:18 PM.

I can't disagree with you that Canelo should be fighting GGG instead of 154 fighters? That's stretching it. We're talking about opinion here...can you tell the difference? You even bring up fighters that weren't ever in the running for a GGG fight? Seriously, Arthur Abraham? We should call you stretch-armstrong for reaching too much.
As far as people being ****** or a fanboy. You cannot argue that Canelo has fought the better opposition. Lara, Trout coming off of beating Cotto, and then beating Cotto and fighting Floyd (though I gave Canelo about 2 or 3 rds max) is still better than Murray, Wade, etc. I don't see why it's hard to admit that part?
If you want to argue that Canelo ducked golovkin, that's perfectly fine, it's a legit argument. The problem is that with the sport today, the cash cows run the show. This SHOULD stop, but it won't.
Every fighter as I've said here before, has had to make sacrifices to be the top ppv guy, cash cow #1 p4p, etc. Floyd did it, Cotto had to do it, canelo had to do it, Hopkins had to do it. Golovkin seems legitimately either afraid or just to much of a diva to make the sacrifice to go down in weight to meet Canelo, on that same note, canelo seems one or the other as well, when it comes to going to 160.
The one problem golovkin has that Canelo does not however is he has a loaded 154 lb division, while golovkin has a weak division with guys who are questionable in how good they are. Jacobs might not even beat mora in the rematch, Quillen has been gifted decisions, and got KOed in 1 Rd, Lee loses most of his fights unless his concussion power bails him out, which it has several times, etc. There is no fight @ 160 that will make golovkin that top star. He's shown he's not willing to take risks, and from what I've seen and read, it's always he said this, or he said that. Loeffler can't keep his stories straight to save his life, and over the last few weeks I've seen more and more headlines that we all know are trying to help team golovkin save face for fighting a WW. We ALL knew khan was a ******, ridiculous circus show and what the end result would be, so there's no defending that. Canelo has fought his share of bums in the past as well, but he has stepped up to beat some top notch fighters. Golovkin needs to do the same or his stock will go down.
