Also, in theory, Canelo was also capable of negotiating another catchweight of 157 or 158. But he wouldn't budge off of 155. If GGG was being difficult by not wanting at 155, Canelo was reciprocating by not wanting to move off of 155. GGG's justification to fight at 160 has more rationale in comparison to Caneloweight 155.

GGG still has work left at 160...until that work is done, I wouldn't support a move up in weight class (unless it's a one-time fight like has been suggested for Zurdo). I'm not going to advocate boxers fight for pennies. Neither will I say that GGG should give up on his goal.
