So which is it, fighting "A-level" guys is more important or generating the most attention?
    "Ether" hmm... where?
As things stand Ward ran up to 175lbs to avoid the more talented fighter that and since his return he never once fought at 168lbs the only person to blame for it not happening is Ward.
I dont care about that A side B side crap fight....who makes what crap....GGG vs brook is a joke....fighting A class opposition is and being a star is literally 2 things GGG and K2 know nothing about.

British fans are the best fans in boxing, right beside japanese and mexican fans....Brook could be fighting someone else and it will sell...that isnt a reflection of GGG being a big star.....the UK sell out arena's all the time....thats why it was gonna be brook or eubank because they saw how GGG vs Lemiuex tanked...neither are stars..brook is a star in britain and GGG is trying to become an international star

Cotto is a star and has fought A listers

    Canelo as well

GGG is not a star yet nor has he fought anyone elite....deal with it

Funny isn't it, soon as the Yanks are dominating the division is in a great state but when it's not a Yank the division suck and get no attention prime example the Cruiserweight division lol

As a boxing fan I'm excited to see entertaining fights not clinch fests.
So again, Ward has moved up and will be facing an A class opponent this November. As a boxing fan, I'm excited to see them square off.

        2) Again, what the f#ck are you talking about?! We just went over this! Canelo ducking GGG is the most documented duck in boxing history! Why are you defending him?! They couldn't do anything to force GGG to fight at 155. And to prepare for 160, they choose Beefy Smith?! I'm sure Canelo is totally representing that 160 lineal title he's holding hostage. Look, Canelo had his shot to fight GGG, not once, but twice. Instead of GGG, they chose Amir Khan (which was a voluntary defense that GBP applied for)...then instead of GGG, they chose Beefy. Come on hype man. You're smarter than that.

        3) Once again, what the f#ck are you talking about?! We just went over this! Lara never advised his team to make the GGG fight, as is evidenced by video interviews. How can Lara get the fight if his team isn't trying to negotiate it?! You think calling someone out on twitter will automatically get a boxer the fight he wants?

You've clearly fallen off your rocker, hype man.

        1) rubbish! Ward approached Team Bull**** immediately following the Smith fight in July 2015, and he wanted to fight IMMEDIATELY..... but guess what?..... lil'G suddenly needed a catchweight of 164.

        164, or no fight !
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds. Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.

        2) rubbish again! Golovkin ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"..... and he promised to give Canelo a catchweight..... but then, he ducked Canelo to fight Kell Brook, an unproven welter.

        http://ring tv.craveonline.com/news/...canelo-alvarez

        3) Loeffler did not ring Erislandy Lara, he rang Kell Brook.

This past Saturday night at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, WBA/IBO junior middleweight world champion Erislandy 'The American Dream' Lara (23-2-2, 13KOs) successfully defended his titles with a hard-fought twelve round unanimous decision over Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan.

          Not Bernard Hopkins !

..... and not Marvin Haglers either!

It is the WBA's fault that lil'G does not get any credit for defending their "regular" title..... so if that upsets you deeply, maybe take it up with them?

No genuine boxing fan would support the WBA's greed and corruption.

No genuine boxing fan would support having multiple champions in the same division, let alone within the same sanctioning body.

But not surprised at all to see that you happily support it.

          Have some pride you clown.

The link which proves that the 164 demand from Team Bull**** was a show-stopper, and not an opening point for negotiation..... like that unsubstantiated bull**** you tried to spin earlier.

Additionally, no other person in this forum trolls GGG articles more than you...you truly do add to GGG's hype just by posting on every single thing about him...yet you fail to understand this? That hype you hate so much...you're keeping it alive just by attacking other boxing fans on here who has anything good to say about GGG. You don't have a single nice thing to say about any boxer, do you? That's why you're the hype man. Hyping it all up without any substance. Because JCCjr had a bigger fanbase, & thus the money justified the risk--in order to secure that money, offering JCCjr his optimum weight of 168 would further entice him to take the bout. Same with Froch.

Also, in theory, Canelo was also capable of negotiating another catchweight of 157 or 158. But he wouldn't budge off of 155. If GGG was being difficult by not wanting at 155, Canelo was reciprocating by not wanting to move off of 155. GGG's justification to fight at 160 has more rationale in comparison to Caneloweight 155.
