I prefer to follow the bandwagon of NSBism and say, "as if BoxRec is an incredible source" like perhaps the other alts you've stated innit?
HBO loves Ward, good or bad. The American pride supersedes it all, and some prefer to raise the flag (pun intended)
Thanks Lou for agreeing with meComment

Only because for the first 30 minutes they couldn't stop laughing that Ward first, thought they'd give him 50/50, second, thought he'd give him 50/50 a year or so before they even fought, and third, thought they'd stop trying to get big fights and take on a guy who hadn't been fighting and could give tickets away. What the **** do you want phone calls to Wards team? They made it clear they wanted 164. While pursuing fights with Froch at 168.
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.
The guy ducked Ward, turned down the offer in 36 minutes.
Not for one second should anyone believe Ward thought he'd send that deal thinking k2 was gonna fall for that banana in the tailpipe.
After 30 minutes of laughing, they took six minutes to remember who it is Ward actually fights for. They told him straight up, we are not taking that bs, we have plans now and into 2016. Come back when you are gonna come correct. Biiiiitch.
And Ward almost filled a pool with his crocodile tears. **** Ward and his goofy nonsensical deal.
**** Lara and his overinflated self worth.Comment

So them wanting 50/50 was a lie, them wanting 164 was a lie, anyone from 154-168 was a lie, everyone ducking him was a lie. His career is just lies. That's after Brook has weighed in at 147 and Golovkin at 160.
