Correct, they turned down Ward's PR stunt offer immediately WITHOUT sending any counter offers or asking for any catchweights. Loeffler just told Roc that if they wanted to fight GGG on those terms they should come back in 2017.

And they didn't do that WHILE pursuing Froch at 168. It seems like the concept of time and chronological order is something you have difficulty with.

Not sure how Brook coming in at roughly the same weight as Golovkin makes this an even fight. If anything it's to his disadvantage since only 2 weeks ago he was training for a likely fight at 147. His chin will be a tad better due to not cutting weight like before, but how will he adjust to the added bulk. Just like Khan found out, the reflexes won't be as fast once he begins to fatigue.
