Is Malik Scott underrated, many people forget he beat Alex Lepai, Tony Thompson, Bowie Topou, Charless Shufford, and arguablly beat Glazkov and was up before he quit against Chisora

There's nothing arguable about the Glazkov fight; Scott straight up outboxed him.
In answer to your question, yes, probably. I've heard more than one poster talk about Scott as if he's some bum, when he's one of the most technically sound fighters in the division, and a legitimate top ten guy. He also, as you correctly pointed out, has wins over a number of decent guys.
His dive against Wilder was disastrous for his reputation however. His choice to make, of course, not that I suspect it bothers him any. -
Yes, he's one of the most skilled heavyweights, but his atrocious chin will keep him from the topComment

He's pretty skilled in comparison to a lot of the other HWs but the guys chin is weak, he lacks power & I really question his character if the Chisora fight didn't leave a sour enough taste in my mouth that farce with Wilder sure enough did.
Schufford & Leapai are nothing but journeyman & if it wasn't for a load of bogus decisions Glazkov wouldn't be much more either.
Type of guys really you'd expect a half decent prospect to handle with relative ease.Comment

He is/was a fringe contender and thats about where he was rated. Maybe got overrated for a while.
He had decent skill and movement, but he had no power to stop guys coming to him and no chin once they got there.Comment

This is the problem... although the guy has skills, say the name "Malik Scott" and the first thing you'll think of is the Wilder fight, where, in the best case scenario, he was whacked out inside a round.
The more likely scenario is that he took a dive, and the normally-reliable Showtime team disgracefully tried to talk it up.Comment
