Mayweather waited years until Pacquiao seemed beatable before taking the fight but not that it is over, I don't see much worth complaining about.

No one is complaining about it. It's more like bringing out the obvious how that fight had too many controversies surrounding it. Floyd waited many years, and till the end, yup he still ran and hugged for dear life.
