Adonis is not liked but has the ability and power to possibly beat Kov and Ward

I remember years ago, I had a ring magazine that had him featured in the new faces article. Not too long after he lost an upset to Darnell Boone. I hadnt watched much of him but he definitely had talent

fast forward some years and now he is the lineal and wbc light heavyweight champion of the world with 6 defenses

While champion he has defeated Bellew who recently won a title at cruiser, former super middleweight champion Bika, Tavoris Cloud a former titleholder, and has been a good champion

people label him a duck, i just never looked into the situation, I just know Stevenson/Kov never happened

If Stevenson gets past Williams, I want to see him face the winner of Kov/Ward ASAP

Stevenson is the hardest puncher in the division. He is the consistent boxer puncher that Kov is nor the technician that Ward is but he does bring a combination of athleticism, speed and true one power that could put them both out

Neither can say they are the man at 175 until they beat Stevenson

I've said for years that Adonis is the true threat to Kovalev because of his power and counterpunching ability. He's a good fighter. He's just a good fighter that doesn't take any risks.

As TS noted, Stevenson could possibly beat Kov or Ward, but I wouldn't favor him to beat either.

I think he and Kovalev is a great fight. Sergey is a better technician but Stevenson's power is always a threat. I favor Kovalev but consider it a close fight.

Ward would be a nightmare for Stevenson. Adonis doesn't have enough dimensions to his game for a technical fighter like Ward whose chin is rarely available to hit. Andre would be slipping and countering all night long.

If only he shared your enthusiasm for his increasingly tenuous claim to be the man???? Since coasting off the Dawson win his opposition has become increasingly poor..

He's now fighting a guy that lost to Campillo & his last outing was C level LHW Tommy Karpency who's probably going to get mullered by Oleksandr Gvozdyk next. IF YOU'RE THA MAN AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO CLEAN OUT YOUR DIVISION? I'D UNDERSTAIND IF THEY WERE ALL LEGIT DUCKING HIM BUT LETS NOT PRETEND THEY ARE! TALKS A GOOD GAME ON TWITTER..

AND THAT FACE OFF WITH KOVALEV AFTER THE PASCAL FIGHT WAS SO LAME TOO LOL

While i view Kovalev as the more complete fighter as mentioned earlier he is there to be hit, and no way Kovalev can take a flush counter straight left from Adonis without going to sleep, so its really a tossup matchup, if Kovalev can break Adonis down he wins, if Adonis baits in Kovalev and hits him with an unseen left hand its all over

The REAL threat in the LHW division tho is Artur Beterbiev, Beterbiev is a stylistic nightmare for all of 3 of Ward, Kovalev and Stevenson, they wouldnt be able to contain his relentless agression and he would just mow them down like a bulldozer
                Beterbiev is p4p hardest puncher

Said it for ages. Hopefully he won't be another Matt Korobov & waste his career through bad management & injury. Brutal fighter.. Combine Froch, GGG & Tszyu & u get Beterbiev!

I don't regard Stevenson as a factor at 175. Ward is already bigger player at 175 just by arriving.

Stevenon wouldn't fight Hopkins. Wouldn't fight Kovalev. Wouldn't fight Pascal. You can't shave the top of your division off, fight #15 and keep saying they have to get past you because you're lineal. Lineal belts are a joke.

He landed a punch on a shot-to-**** Dawson and that's basically the legacy he's living off of.

Plus that would probably be the easiest fight of Ward's career. Stevenson has one punch in his arsenal and Ward is a guy who watches patterns and starts punishing you for them, has boxing skills several lightyears ahead of Stevenson.
