Brook is a cherry pick for GGG. But brook was too risky for Floyd where is the high standards Floyd is supposedly held to?

Floyd came from 130 you ****** , you just cant get that through your empty head , Brook is huge compared to Floyd and Kell in his prime not about to retire after 20yrs on top of the world boxing beating everyone .

Kell Brook is a good fighter.

Floyd Mayweather avoided good prime opponents like Brook, and soiled himself with fear at the thought of fighting Golovkin.

Instead he fought weak opponents like Berto.

Floyd fought a lot of smaller men like Pacquiao (who started at straw weight) JMM, Guerrero, etc. Yet the Mayweather fans are harshly critical of Golovkin-Brook. What hypocrites they are!

When all else fails, and the ship is sinking..... blame Floyd

But JMM is a first-ballot, and genuine great..... Kell Brook is not.

So you're from the 'bum' school of thinking - I can't be bothered to look but if I went back to look at your posts just after Jacobs flattened Quillen I'd be very surprised to find you calling him a bum back then.

None of these fighters are bums. Or cab drivers. Just there are levels. But there are fighters at MW, most in fact, who don't care to find out what level they are at compared to Golovkin.

Only Ward, Eubank and Lara have said they would definitely fight Golovkin 'now' and I only pay any creedance to the words of Ward even though he wanted warmups first.

So according to you every other fighter at MW is a bum? That is non-sensical at best and ****** at worst. I'm on record saying that the hype around Golovkin is way too much compared to his ability and track record. He's a great fighter but he will get beaten at some point as I think he will start to believe the hype around him. So how come all the other fighters don't want to be the one to get the credit? You expect middleweight Golovkin to fight light heavyweight Andre Ward.

Yet you bash GGG when a boxer moves up from welterweight to fight him.

160 minus 147 = 13
175 minus 160 = 15

More difference between middleweight and light heavyweight.

And lets not forget, Ward fought at 178 in the amateurs.

You are well-aware that lil'G ducked Ward back when he was at 168.

Back when he was at 168, and Golovkin was willing to fight everyone at 168 EXCEPT for Andre Ward.

But here is your main problem..... explain to me how a "light heavyweight" was ever going to be able to make 164 ?

Just pure skills it is. Far superior skill set to any other opponent. Just that Brook won't be able to take GGG's power - but Brook will land more often than Stevens, Geale, Murray and Lemieux - could he pitter patter his way to a win?

And that on itself, is pretty sad for an u dispirited MW champion who has been compared to the likes of Marvin Hagler, and legends alike. To say his biggest test is....... Kell Brook? A domestic club welterweight who stole a title from an average champion and hasn't fought anyone with a pulse since.

How many proven great fighters are actually active at this point in time? The scarcity of genuine proven stars is shocking. I've got

Gonzalez - getting there
Rigo - one great result - far to go
Lomachenko - is on track but far to go
Bradley - record diminished by 3 real losses to Pac
Cotto - has lost his biggest fights
Canelo - has dubious results
Ward - the standout and even his record is not as good as bygone champs
Kovalev - is on track if he stays unbeaten
Klitscho - rep is based of longevity rather than opponents record.

So yes, Brook is no Marquez but who else is there to fight? Boxing is in a bad way at the moment until the next standouts blaze a trail.
