He's very orthodox. Fundamentally very sound and i think his accuracy and timing and power works great against other welterweights. I just don't see anything in his skill-set that he does better than GGG though.

I think if you were a smaller man fighting GGG, you would at least have to be awkward or somewhat unorthodox, or just brilliant in your defence. As highly as i rate Brook, he's none of these things. I just don't see it as a good style matchup for Brook. At least with Khan v Canelo, everyone knew Khan's speed could possibly give Canelo problems. Or if someone like Floyd moved up, we would know his defence would be a huge problem, or Manny with his speed and volume of punches when he used to move up. There's nothing Kell brings that makes me think GGG has much to worry about.

I think his style just plays into GGG's hands. Brook does have excellent timing, so depending how much power he carries up, he can maybe try to catch GGG coming in. But then even GGG isn't reckless, he is very measured and won't rush in.

His jab is tremendous, one of the best in boxing.

Excellent timing, very accurate, his right hand is delivered with power and precision, he's not fast on his feet but he has very good footwork...

All in all, he's just an excellent fighter and clearly the best at 147. At 160 against the best guy in the division though, I'm not sure how much any of it means.

Brook doesn't even have Thurman or Broner power. GGG will gladly eat 100 jabs to land one right hand.

Evasive footwork, fights great on the backfoot, one of the best one twos in the business. Much faster hands than Golovkin. Sharp reflexes.

his biggest strength at WW was his phsycial size. dude was able to completely nullify shawn porter, a strong little bull, with clinches and his height. if you're tall and strong enough you can just d**** an arm over your opponent and make him carry you for a while.

at MW he'll be extremely weak in comparison to golovkin.

what else does he do well?
nothing tehcnically better than golovkin, though he'll probalby have an advantage in speed, at least early on.

His timing is even better than Fraud Jr's.

His biggest skillset is his balls, which Fraud Jr has none.
