We'll see, he is a big hit in USA lets see how well this Brook fight sells it would be awesome to get the attention of the UK boxing fans because we all know the UK fans are by far better than the Yankees.
When it comes to attracting attention of boxing fans in the US you're mainly trying to win over the Mexicans and Puerto Ricans and maybe the Eastern Europeans into your fanbase whereas the American fans sheeeshhhhhh AWFUL!

An hour? I don't think so. It'll probably take a while to sell out 20k tickets and that's if they do. I also don't believe GGG should be the one with all the credit, you have to give it to the opponent and undercard as well. With that said I do hope this sells out it'll be more evidence that you don't need to be a PPV star to be a big name in boxing.

It has to be argued that the success of this particular show is synergistic. Brook is big, but how big? His last card at the O2 that he headlined had Anthony Joshua and Lee Selby on the undercard. Otherwise he's at the smaller Sheffield Arena doing about 13k in front of his hometown folks.

Damn people on this site is ******ed. GGG is from Kazakhstan with no big domestic community like the hispanics or blacks and even whites. He still selling out Madison Square Garden and The Forum. Of course his PPV number is low because he's a foreigner. Hispanics buy all Canela's fights.

Canelo fans act like they are getting some piece of his money. LMAO! In reality, they live in their parents basement and spend their afternoon at Mc Donalds.

That would matter more except for the fact that Manny Pacquiao has 21 PPV that surpassed the one 150,000 PPV, Golovkin has to his name. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Pacquiao is a foreigner and still outsells Triple G. The reason is not nationality, race and/or ethnicity; it is that one of them was willing to take risks while the other one appears risk adverse. In 2008, Pacquaio went from Lightweight to Welterweight in 9 months. On the other hand, Golovkin has been a Middleweight for a decade an is now fighting a Welterweight that is also willing to take the risk of greatness that Golovkin has not.

That's an interesting comment from the person that was the first to bring up Canelo's name in this thread. Hmmmm??

exactly...GGG has made his name through a lot of PR and winning fights...he is doing his job...everything after that is just a result of that mixture(KO+PR).

                    back to topic.

If this sellout in less than a week..I consider that a sucess...if not...that means that the fight is not an attraction for most of the people..

Brook-Vargas would have sold 20k as well. If it's a fight against a world title holder the British fans always come out to support the British fighter. Everyone knows this.
