My point is that if it takes 40+ years for something to be linked to enhancing performance, the affects are minuscule.
No women would risk her livelihood and potentially millions of dollars worth of endorsements for a placebo.

I doubt you have any understanding of pharmacology, so I don't know where you get your information from.

Truth is you have no idea what the drug does, you're just trying to dismiss the drug because it makes your favourite fighters look bad.

Do yourself a favor and go watch povetkin vs Marco huck. Then watch his fight against Mariucz Wach and tell me this kind of stamina is natural.

Ha! Makes sense now I think about it.

On Tuesday, former champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) lashed out over his inability to finalize a random drug testing protocol for his upcoming fight with WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight king Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs). The HBO televised fight take place on March 14th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. According to Pascal, his demand for random testing was rejected due to the high cost. A counter-demand was sent to him, where he was asked to pay for the entire drug testing protocol. Pascal agreed, and assumed the two sides were going move forward with the testing, but the boxer claims the testing terms were then modified by Main Events - which Pascal rejected.

Damn, sounds like OP done fell in a hole with this thread.

No I think its Kovalev having an off day.. Calzaghe, Hopkins, Ward all have em! Its because we hold SK to such high standards that this performance which was a clear cut win over Chilemba anyway (who never makes anyone look good.. Sort of a LHW Sergio Mora!) that when he doesn't look the dominant anlmal we all know think he gets criticised more widely! More focus is on Kovalev than other fighters.. Anyone whom had beaten Chilemba in that fashion other than SK would have been highly praised! It will no doubt spur him on to be better next time.. I buy it that he was ill!

I don't want to speculate: big can of worms. But, he seemed hungry to eat plenty of leather. Maybe it was on off night.

I love Ward, but I do not hate Kovalev.

Let the best man win... I am unsure of who to bet real money on...

            Still thinking...

I agree he needs to pace himself better & be more accurate against Ward but people are over egging the performance or lack of. It was fairly dominant & again his power shone through.. If that is SK at 70% then WOW!

meldonium is only available in russia and eastern europe

kovalev lives and usually fights in the USA

if he's on PEDs it'll just be the same stuff that the americans are on

Meldonium is not even thst big of a deal. I swear these testing organizations are actually worse for the sport. Yhese athletes can't even take supplements from GNC or they get popped. If you've taken any type of pre workout or post workout recently, chances are you'd get popped for PED's too.
