I noticed Maxi has been trying to **** on Kovalev lately. Expect more of it as the Ward fight gets closer. He wants to make sure Ward gets ZERO credit if he beats Kovalev so he has to downplay Kovalev
Is this Kovalev without Meldonium?

Kovalev is the one who asked for Vada man..Pascal wanted some Canadian firm
On Tuesday, former champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) lashed out over his inability to finalize a random drug testing protocol for his upcoming fight with WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight king Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs). The HBO televised fight take place on March 14th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. According to Pascal, his demand for random testing was rejected due to the high cost. A counter-demand was sent to him, where he was asked to pay for the entire drug testing protocol. Pascal agreed, and assumed the two sides were going move forward with the testing, but the boxer claims the testing terms were then modified by Main Events - which Pascal rejected.

at that title
But really it's possible he did take it since it wasn't banned and even ***in tennis players were using it. I'm sure he knew about but if he was smart he would say he never took it if he actually didComment

He was tested after Jan 1, 2016.
The fight was on Jan 30, 2016.

Same reason people have a cup of coffee in the morning at work. It DOES 'enhance your performance', just like a million other things. It does not mean that it's angeldust and will make you impervious to pain, or that it's spinach and will give you popeye strength.
My point is that if it takes 40+ years for something to be linked to enhancing performance, the affects are minuscule.Comment

"A 2002 paper from researchers at Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia found the drug has a positive effect on the physical working capacity of judokas"
USAtoday
The Guardian says that the founder of meldonium "had previously authored an abstract to a sports science conference in which many benefits of meldonium were promised, including enhanced aerobic capabilities, endurance performance, and recovery."
As to why it's suddenly banned, it's only sold in certain countries and WADA was previously unaware it was being used to enhance performance.Comment
