but if Ward wins, even a close one like I expect, then I hope that nobody throws Kovalev under a bus. The man is a great for boxing, he should have a lot of support because of the fact that he is a terrific fighter, not because he is Ward's next opponent.

But many are acting like Ward is somehow going to go out like Mohamedi or shot Pasqual. When I've said that "Kov has never fought anyone on Ward's level" I got people spamming my PM box with hate letters. lol

You haven't been paying attention then. Hell, even Ward has seen people saying this as evidenced by the thread title. The people saying it have no credibility to begin with and are suddenly getting real quiet, but after Ward beats him I'm sure you'll see plenty of threads and old posts bumped here, mocking people that made such predictions.

I've actually seen arguments for both sides. I always thought ward was gonna win when the fight was announced. I think you just remember the negatives because that's what people normally remembers. Also people been flip flopping lately cause ward looked average his last fight then kov just looked more average.

They wont, they'll say it was a home town reg and Ward got away with everything but the kitchen sink. NSB is very predictable. If Ward wins, no credit. If Kov wins, he beat a p4p great.
