    It's called "negotiating".....

But Lil G decided he rather fight a WW instead...

I'm not going to rain on Brook for stepping up (literally), but ultimately he was offered substantially more money (and the safeguard of his IBF title) by dumping Vargas and fighting Golovkin. I couldn't see Brook taking this risk if he was going to get the same pay marked for the Vargas fight. As mentioned by others, this is purely a business event, made to salvage a planned promotion that went sideways.

Brook has no chance of winning this fight, he is undersized, doesnt have the legs, the power, the chin or the weight experience to win this

Its a shame Hearn purposely ****ed Eubank over...

But Kell can't ever have an unbiased/fan perspective, and he might be the only person on either side of the Atlantic ocean that doesn't at least reluctantly think he is going to get wrecked.

This fight could unravel Kell Brook if it goes as badly as it could. There's a lot for him to gain too though. A win would be a truly legendary upset, and even just going 12 rounds to a decision loss would make his stock explode.

I think he gets stopped in 5.
Nobody expects Kell to be able to beat Golovkin, and nobody will think any less of him when he loses. If he puts up a good show, he could come out of this with better options going forward than he had before. And he will be a lot richer too!

If you think Jnr had a hope in hell of beating Golovkin you are as crazy as his old man!

Gosh, people are overanalyzing brooks challenge.
He's not doing anything no one has done before so why all the gossip? Noit everyone does it, maybe because not everyone has confidence. Just cos Floyd didn't want to jump up 2 divisions. He bloated jmm 2 divisions though.

Eubank Jr fights at the weight, he's big, he's strong and has a great chin.

Brook doesnt fight at the weight, he's smaller, he doesnt have the best chin.

Brook could end up in a coma thats how much of a mismatch this is.

Whether Eubank Jr loses to GGG or not, its a fight between 2 men who campaign in the same division, it is not comparable to this freak show

This isn't the first time Brook has pulled out of a fight, Rios, Chaves, and Bradley.
Vargas was good with his purse, but after Brexit the value of the £ fell. And though Vargas' pay, in BPS, didn't change, in $$, it wouldn't have been worth as much, so he wanted Hearn to up his purse accordingly.

Kell wants the fight, and that's his decision, not his freaking dad's!
