Meh the difference was Canelo ducked Golovkin and fought Khan.

Golovkin is fighting Brook because Canelo, Eubank, etc etc etc etc ducked him.

Not really golovkin's fault, but it's still a lame fight I won't bother watching. No point in trying to dress it up.

hey Mr gullible, if Lara really wanted to fight GGG, he would ask Haymon to send Loeffler an offer to promote the fight with him, like Hearn did with Eubank Jnr. All Lara does is talk **** on social media, and it's always AFTER GGG has signed for a fight.

Lara drew with Marty Whatsisname then sc****d a decision win against him in the rematch. He got beat by Canelo, and decked twice by a shot Angulo. Kell Brook would beat Lara easily at 154. He doesn't belong in the same ring as Golovkin.

I agree. Giving up any reach to Golovkin will make it massively difficult for Brook as GGG uses his footwork and distance incredibly well. Having said that, it isn't 5 inches. Brook won't be much smaller than GGG in reality, BoxRec stats are:

BROOK
Height: 5′ 9″ / 175cm
Reach: 69″ / 175cm

GOLOVKIN
Height: 5′ 10½″ / 179cm
Reach: 70″ / 178cm

Not much different really, but it's GGG's ability to cut the ring so effectively and the damage that he inflicts when he has you cornered that is going to cause Brook the most problems. I'd be surprised if this went past 6.

oh... Im sure someone quoted 5 inch reach disadvantage for Brook, must have been incorrect. Makes the fight a little bit more competitive if there height and reach is similar. Im a big Brook fan shame hes been at a standstill since beating porter. I personally figured the best route for Kell if he couldnt get the big fights at 147 was to take on Liam Smith at 154, take the WBO belt, that could have lured a fight with Miguel Cotto which would have been a mega fight, and if he could have got pass that then on to a super fight with Canelo. Would have been very ideal if things worked like that.
Side note: Liam Smith vs Canelo is a mismatch. Atleast khan had his speed, movement, this guy has nothing to trouble Canelo in the least. Its going to be a beat down.
