    BROOK
    Height: 5′ 9″ / 175cm
    Reach: 69″ / 175cm

    GOLOVKIN
    Height: 5′ 10½″ / 179cm
    Reach: 70″ / 178cm

Not much different really, but it's GGG's ability to cut the ring so effectively and the damage that he inflicts when he has you cornered that is going to cause Brook the most problems. I'd be surprised if this went past 6.

I too would love to see Brook and Canelo at 154, great fight!
Good post , my thoughts too.

I have the same gut feeling. There's nothing "throwback" about this fight. The comparison to the Fab 4 is misplaced.

this is complete and utter crud....nice way to try and pump it up...real fans know what a mismatch is

The initial disappointment has worn off for me, at the end of the day it's happening.

With that said, **** it, let's do this Kell.

              smh

size is not about height and reach

its about bone density, muscle density, girth, and mass

example.....Tyson was 5'11" with like a 72" reach ..the height and reach of a middleweight...so are he and GGG the same size??? imagine if cruiserweights were jumping up to fight tyson...murked

they are similar in height, not size.

GGG is the bigger guy and will be by at least 13 pounds fight night unless brook bulks up or just comes in soft

I get it that options were limited and it's big on paper, etc. etc.

                ****** fight.

Brook gets stopped in 5 or less.

Unlike Khan, the undefeated Brook does not have a glass jaw and actually has good punching power and stamina. The outcome of this fight is not so predictable. And unlike Canelo-Khan, it's not pay-per-view!!! So stop whining about this fight!!!

                    The gamble of Legends

Had Mayweather chose to fight an undefeated GGG, and take the chance to lose his perfect record, he could have one buy points using is great defense. That would have propulse him into higher ranks in the all time great. Brook buy doing so, and who knows what can happen in a fight, might win. Although i would bet on GGG to KO him. But if Brook wins this fight, we will have the kind of champion we want since the eras of the great Legends.

All three had won titles in divisions above welterweight before fighting Hagler. They did not jump straight from welterweight to fight him.

                      The comparison is just wrong.

I believe all those fights you are referring to took place in the same-day weigh in era. If Brook had been fighting back then he would have struggled to make SWW, let alone WW.

Kell revealed yesterday that he can no longer make 147, and he's been tight at the IBF rehydration limit of 157 at noon on fight day since he won his title.
